We will get things wrong. This page states what we do about it, what you can expect if you tell us, and
it is where every correction we make is recorded.
How to report an error
Email contact@bangladeshwiki.com with the page URL, the
statement you believe is wrong, and — if you have one — the document that shows it. You do not need to
explain the subject; the document is the most useful thing you can send. Anyone may report an error: a
reader, an institution, or the person named in a claim. We do not ask who you are, and we do not charge.
What counts as a correction

What we will not do
- We never edit a published verdict quietly. A verdict changes only through a logged correction.
- We do not remove a page to resolve a dispute. If a claim turns out to be unverifiable after publication, the check is re-rated, and the original is visible in the changelog.
- We do not correct a fact merely because someone objects to it. A correction requires a document.
How fast
We acknowledge every report, and we aim to publish a decision on substantive and reversal corrections
within seven days of receiving a source we can verify against. Where a claim needs longer, we say so on the
page rather than leaving the report unanswered.
How we tell people
Corrections are pushed, not buried. A correction is reflected in the checks and articles that repeat the
figure, and reversal corrections are surfaced on the page itself. Anyone who has previously reported an
error on a page is told when it is corrected.
The log
Every substantive and reversal correction is listed here, newest first, with a link to the amended page.
This log is empty because nothing has been corrected yet. It will not stay empty, and when
it fills we will not treat that as an embarrassment: a corrections log with nothing in it usually means
nobody is reading closely enough to catch the errors.
